This tiny bar in Flagey was an old butcher shop. Today, what’s left of it is the old counter. The rest of the setting gives a retro look to the place, from the flowery wallpaper, to the coal stove heating in the winter, and the old velvet couches.

It’s at the same time a super cosy wine bar, a crowded bar in the weekends, with aperitivos every thursday nights where a dj set plays from 7pm, an a place to chill during the day, where we love to order freshly squeezed orange juice and a pasteis de natta, or come in for a brunch on saturdays and sundays, from 11h30 to 16h.

Besides brunches, you can generously eat between 4 and 10 euros, bagels, burgers, toasts, but also prepared dishes such as grilled salmon, beef tartare or fried vegetables.
And at night, I like to order a plate of antipastis with a glass of wine. The big one is for 8 euros.

And in the summer, or in the winter for brave smokers, they also put a little terrace outside.
A really good address to remember.
