When Pierre tells us he’s finally found a place to open the coffee shop of his dreams, we’re all ears. What we didn’t expect however, is that he would open it between Rogier and Yser. Great news for the neighborhood, and a good reason to get us moving across the city.

Pierre co-founded Damn Good Café with Louise, Eleonore and Paul. All four of them have been trained at Belga & Co, which you should know by now. Barista, roaster, pastry chef and chef – the team is perfectly equipped to face this new challenge, and to do it well. But their true strength, according to us, is their super positive energy.

C’est au Comptoir Florian que tout a commencé. Alors que j’y observe cette femme commander d’énormes sachets de thé, je pense à la famille tout aussi énorme qui l’attend sûrement à la maison. On a affaire à une connaisseuse, qui choisit méticuleusement chacun des parfums qu’elle compte emporter. En discutant avec elle, je comprends que Zoé n’est pas là pour abreuver toute sa famille de thé, mais bien pour ses fervents habitués du Caléo Café, situé à deux pas de là.
