Located on chaussée de Charleroi, on the edge of the Châtelain neighbourhood, the Parlor Coffee is one of those coffee bars that really carries a vision. The owners, a Belgo-Japanese couple, had the wish to introduce “real coffee” to Brussels when they opened their shop in 2012. Their coffee is home-roasted and imported from small passionate producers across the world, only exporting the best of their production. Besides their quality coffee, they also offer a selection of Japanese teas and excellent chai lattes, caramel lattes or delicious matcha lattes, all available with soy milk as well.
The place is quite tiny, with a Scandinavian inspired decoration, both cosy and light. If you’re really look for quiet, take a seat upstairs, in one of their comfortable couches. And if the sun is out, do not miss their little terrace at the back.
On the weekends, we’ll come here for brunch, a bagel on the go or to enjoy a long coffee break with homemade pastries with a couple of friends. And if you’re only passing by, don’t hesitate to go in for a few seconds to take one of their delicious coffees away with you.
